ISLAMABAD: Umair Akbar Soomro, an Inland Revenue Service officer, has been promoted to BS-18 with immediate effect.
The officer, presently posted as Deputy Commissioner-IR, Large Taxpayers Unit, Karachi, has been promoted on regular basis in his group. According to the notification, if the officer is drawing performance allowance will continue to draw the same after promotion. The officer will continue to work at his present place of postings till further orders, it added.
