TOKYO: EA has declared that Battlefield 4: Second Assault, the next expansion for Battlefield 4, will be available for free to EA Early Access members.

The game publishing giant posted on their official site that Second Assault will be available from January 29 to February 28 to all members of EA Early Access. The expansion will be available as a DLC from the EA Access Hub on Xbox One.

Battlefield 4 Second Assault features new Achievements and Assignments, and also brings back four famous maps from Battlefield 3. These maps are Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, Operation Firestorm, and Operation Métro. All these maps will be slightly revamped to suit BF4.

In addition to the maps, the expansion also features new weapons and vehicles.

Second Assault will be the first DLC to be added to the EA Early Access service. However, this isn’t the first reward for Early Access; members of this service were rewarded with 6 hours of Dragon Age: Inquisition prior to its release as well.
