Ebad pledges action against land mafia involved in occupying school in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Ishratul Ebad pledged an action against land mafia involved in occupying a school in Shah Faisal area of the metropolis.

Ebad visited the school, which was found destroyed as schoolchildren went to school today after winter vacations.

On the occasion, he said that he has talked to education department for reconstruction of the school, adding that efforts are being made to begin rebuilding work from tomorrow.

The Sindh governor also directed removal of encroachment from the school. Ebad also offered to shift the school in another building till reconstruction of the building.

Earlier, media reported that a school in Shah Faisal area of Karachi was occupied by land mafia.
