Eight Customs officers of BS-19 relinquish charges

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued different notifications regarding charge relinquishment/assumption, transfer/posting and deputation of Pakistan Customs Service and Inland Revenue Service officers (BS-19).

As per details, in pursuance of Board’s Notification No 1867-MI dated 23.09.2014, Azhar Husain Merchant, PCS/BS-19 officer, has relinquished the charge of the post of Additional Director Reforms & Automation Karachi on 26.092014 and assumed the charge of the post of Additional Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West), Karachi.

Farukh Sajd, (PCS/BS-19) officer, following Notification No 1867-MI dated 23.09.2014, has relinquished the charge of the post of Director Reforms& Automation Karachi on 26.092014 and assumed the charge of the post of Additional Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement (West), Karachi.

Sadia Sheraz, (PCS/BS-19) officer, acting on the Board’s Notification No 1867-MI dated 23.09.2014, has relinquished the charge of the post of the Additional Collector MC, (Preventive), Karachi and assumed the charge of the post of Additional Director, Directorate of Reforms and Automation (Customs), Karachi.

Saed Akram, (PCS/BS-19) officer, in pursuance of Notification No 1867-MI dated 23.09.2014, has relinquished the charge of the post for Additional Director Training &Research (customs), Karachi on 26.09.2014 and assumed the charge of the post of Additional Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Port Muhamad Bin Qasim, Karachi.

Muhamad Jamil Nasir, (PCS/BS-19) officer, after issuance of Board’s Notification No 1867-MI dated 23.09.2014, has relinquished the charge of the post of Additional Collector, MC Peshawar on 30.9.2014 and assumed the charge of the post of Additional Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Preventive, Lahore.

Muhamad Farukh Sharif, (PCS/BS-19) officer, in pursuance of Board’s Notification No 1867-MI/2014 dated 23.09.2014, has relinquished the charge of the post of Additional Collector, MC Sialkot on 26.092014 and assumed the charge of the posted of Additional Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement, Lahore.

Ayesha Bashir Wani, (PCS/BS-19) officer, in pursuance of Board’s Notification No 1867-MI/ dated 23.09.2014, has relinquished the charge of the post of Additional Collector MC, Islamabad and assumed the charge of the post of Additional Collector, office of the Chief Collector Customs (North), Islamabad.

On completion of Deputation period and in pursuance of Ministry of Industries & Production letter No 1(5)/2014-SMEDA/ME-I, dated 29.02.014, Muhamad Nasir Khan Ghouri (IRS/BS-19) has assumed the charge of the post of Secretary, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad.

Meanwhile, Sobia Mazhar, BS-18 officer of Inland Revenue Service, presently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Sargodha has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Regional Tax Office-I, Karachi with immediate effect. The officer is required to Relinquish/Assume charge, using online HRMS facility made available at al FBR major field offices or by using IJP login.

According to notification, if the officer is drawing performance allowance (equivalent 10% of basic pay) prior to her transfer she shall continue to draw this allowance.

Moreover, Tahira Javed, (PCS/BS-18) presently posted as Deputy Collector, Model Customs Collectorate of Appraisement, Lahore is allowed to undertake AusAid Scholarship Programme 2015 at the University of Melbourne, Australia commencing from 01.2015 to 31.2016. The period of her scholarship/study abroad will be treated as deputation.

The notification said that Federal Board of Revenue has no objection to the proceeding abroad of the officer during her deputation period. The performance allowance (equivalent 10% of basic pay) admissible to the officer shall remain discontinued during her leave period, it added.
