Eight POs along with three others arrested, contrabands seized

SARGODHA: The police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested eleven drug pushers and recovered narcotics, illegal weapons from their possession. According to police sources, teams of different police stations conducted raids within the areas of their jurisdiction and arrested 11 accused recovering 770 grams heroin, 560 grams hashish, 17 bottles of liquor, 1 Kalashnikov, 6 pistols 30 bore,1 gun 12 bore along with bullets and cartridges from their possession.

The police also arrested proclaimed offenders including Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Zulfiqar, Hassan Hayat, Saqib Abbas, Muhammad Ejaz, Muhammad Azam, Khizar Hayat and Anser. These POs were wanted by different police stations in heinous crime cases. Separate cases were registered against the accused.
