WARSAW: The Eiser Infrastructure which is one of the biggest global infrastructural investment funds, has just opened an office in Poland, setting up a EUR 300 million CEE Infrastructure Fund. Eiser is also hoping for a capital fund from the European Investment Bank, but the sum in question has not been revealed.

The Polish government needs capital from investment funds as it won’t be able to finance all of its infrastructural investments with EU funds alone, especially beyond 2020, and banks are usually unwilling to engage in such projects, Jan Stylinski of the construction companies lobby PZPB said.
