PLANT CITY Eleanor Poppell, president of Poppell Insurance, was named the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce’s Good Egg of the Month for September.She has a long history of work for charity, including preparing a meal for an annual Christmas party for the developmentally disabled clients of the James Ranch, part of the MacDonald Training Center.
She also has logged 2,350 volunteer hours at South Florida Baptist Hospital. The chamber presents the Good Egg to an individual with outstanding community service.
