KARACHI: Karachi Port Trust (KPT) has decided to construct elevated express way at Pakistan Deep Water Container Port (PDWCP) Karachi.
According to the sources, elevated express way project will be completed within three years. It will consist of six lanes and estimated length is about 12 to 15 Kilometers. It will be a developed road with Coal yard and its location will be from SAPT gate to northern bypass via China creek and ended at Madipur. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 40 billion.
The sources further told that at the end of 2015 a consultant will be hired for this project which will make feasibility within seven months. This project will take 36 months to complete the deadline for this project is August 31 2019.
