Embezzlement charges: NAB expands investigations against Rana Mashood

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has tightened its noose around Punjab Minister of Education Rana Mashood in an alleged corruption case.

Sources told Customs Today that NAB has widened the investigations in the area where he was elected as MPA. NAB investigated from private secretary of Rana Mashood, Shahid Khan and another close friend Hafiz Abid Khan. On Thursday, NAB summoned both of them and asked them many questions for investigations against Rana Mashood.

It is pertinent to mention here that Rana Mashood, who is minister of education, now facing charges of embezzlement in Punjab Sports Festival when he was performing as the minister of sport.

Sources also told Customs Today that National Accountability Bureau Lahore has also collected the record of an NGO which is owned by his wife.
