LAHORE: SAARC Chamber Young Entrepreneurs Forum Vice Chairman Sheharyar Ali Malik has said that there are a lot of opportunities for the Pakistani entrepreneurs and corporate sector to focus on developing brands.

He was addressing a seminar on “Brand products, a key to success in int’l markets”. He said that the private sector would have to design a method to promote branding culture in Pakistan to wear off the intensity of economic meltdown being observed by the leading economies of the world. He said Pakistan has all the resources in abundance but it has so far failed to get its share in the world market only because of poor branding. He said branding is the tool that not only gives boost to its exports but also adds value to the products.

He said that Trade Development Authority Pakistan had evolved a viable master plan to encourage Pak brands in international markets by facilitating manufacturers and exporters for holding single-country exhibitions. He said that TDAP chief had fully assured that genuine exhibitors would be encouraged and facilitated to optimum level.
