The pensioners could also contact the EOBI management via helpline 0800-3624 for assistance and guidance. The pensioners having completed the process of biometric registration in Bank Alfalah have been asked to call on 111 225 229 for activation of their ATM cards.

The official said that the EOBI pensioners would continue receiving pensions from designated branches of the National Bank of Pakistan until the new system becomes fully operational. According to the official, the new initiative aims to facilitate the pensioners to evade standing in long queues.
