FAISALABAD: Establishment of Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) is right step in right direction to involve Woman entrepreneurs in national main stream by exploiting their skills, said Mian Muhammad Adrees ex president Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI).
While inaugurating the office of FWCCI at the third floor of FCCI complex he said that women are an integral part of our society but we have crippled this important and major chunk of our population by restricting them to the houses. He said that it is very encouraging that women are not only getting education but they have outshined boys in different examinations.
It is clear indicator that women have capabilities of head and heart and they could equally contribute their role in the national development. He said that two seats have been reserved for ladies in FCCI but despite of this facility the female entrepreneurs are reluctant to work with male entrepreneurs. He said that the FWCCI will provide them an environment in which they could discuss and resolve their issues by themselves.
He hoped that the existing office bearers of Women Chamber will motivate their maximum colleagues to get the membership of this chamber so that they could also play their role in the development of Faisalabad in addition to earning their own respectable livelihood.
The function was also attended by President FCCI Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, SVP Rana Sikandar Azam, VP Engineer Ahmed Hassan , Mian Javaid Iqbal, newly elected President FCCI Shabir Hussain Chawla , newly elected SVP Farooq Yousaf, newly elected VP Rana Fiaz, Chaudhary Talat Mehmood, Mian Farooq Ajmal, Mr. Khalid Habib Sheikh, Secretary General FCCI Mr. Abid Masood and Secretary FWCCI Miss.
