FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation (E&T) Department, during general hold-up, took action against 655 vehicles on default of token tax and violating the rules and regulations.
The checking team checked 6682 vehicles at different roads and impounded 655 vehicles for not paying token tax of Rs1.5 million. The team also removed un-approved, fancy and green number-plates from 580 vehicles during this operation, a spokesman for E&T said here Thursday.
