SARGODHA: The Excise and Taxation (E&T) Department, during its campaign against defaulting vehicles and illegal number-plates, has impounded 300 vehicles in the district.
According to Director E&T Shahid Faridi, over 800 vehicles were checked during the campaign and 300 were impounded for having no registration number of an illegal number-plate. Another 500 were issued warning over non-payment of token tax. He told APP that 12 E&T Department teams conducted operations at various points in the region.
