EU delegation visits KPT, reviews port operations

KARACHI: A high-level, 8 members, European Union delegation led by Director Asia Pacific European Commission Peteris Ustubs, along with EU Ambassador to Pakistan Raimundas Karoblis, visited Karachi Port Trust (KPT).

The delegation held a meeting with Chairman KPT Rear Admiral (r) Shahid Ahmed and discussed EU’s Global Gateway Strategy for green shipping, port modernization, sustainable connectivity and other matters of mutual interest, according to a statement issued here.
