TEHRAN: Mohammad Saeednejad, the managing director of Iran’s Port and Maritime Organization, says European and Asian firms welcome investment in Iran’s port development projects, according to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development website.
To Saeednejad, the prospect of year-end preliminary negotiations and contract conclusions with foreign investors is not too distant as it may take even months to receive relevant permits, provide technical, economic details, and ratify possible agreements.
