European stocks take positive start as UK stocks gains in previous session

LONDON: European stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Tuesday, expanding the last day’s gains as London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index won 0.76 percent to 6,833.78 points.

Frankfurt’s DAX 30 gained 0.37 percent to 10,867.61 points and the CAC 40 in Paris won 0.51 percent to 4,651.07 compared with Monday’s close.
