Apps that are now rolling out support for Apple Watch are likely to be seen on demo units in-store come April 10.

Short descriptions the apps for Apple Watch:

Evernote: Users can dictate notes to be transcribed and synced to Evernote and see recently created, updated and viewed notes. Support for voice-search is added and users can create reminders for to-do tasks.

Dark Sky: Users in the U.S., U.K. and Ireland can see a 5-day weather forecast on their wrist.

NY Times: The New York Times’ update for the Watch lets users see one-sentence stories at a glance, receive alerts for breaking news and use Handoff to ready full articles on their iPhone or iPad. There’s also a “Save for Later” feature to create a reading list.

Target: Build a shopping list right on the Apple Watch and the app will direct you to the items in the store. Glance view lets users see store open times, how many items they have on their list and highlights any deals available.

Twitter: “It’s Twitter, but littler,” according to the app description. Tweet, Retweet, reply and favorite tweets from the Watch. “Share your location, a song, or your thoughts with a flick of the wrist.”

It’s important to note that these are not native Apple Watch apps, but rather iPhone apps with a UI that displays content on the watch itself. According to Apple, “fully native” Apple Watch apps can be created later this year; possible once a native Apple Watch SDK is released.
