WARSAW: Former Finance Minister Paweł Szałamacha has been appointed a board member at Poland’s central bank.
President Andrzej Duda has signed an official document sealing the appointment. Szałamacha was finance minister for ten months before being replaced by Deputy Prime Minister and Development Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in the role last week. Morawiecki will combine the posts and will continue to be development minister.
