Excise Anti-Narcotics Cell arrests three drug peddlers; recovers charas, heroin

LAHORE: Anti-Narcotics Cell, Excise and Taxation Department of Punjab has arrested three drug peddlers by raiding the different areas of Lahore and recovered 1500 grams charas and 1000 grams herion.

According to Excise and Taxation officer Latif Anjum on special Directions of DG Ahmad Aziz Tarar, Anti-Narcotics Cell raided the Nawan Kot, Police Station area, Kahna Nau and Liaqat Abad areas of Lahore.  Anti-Narcotics team comprising Director Iqbal Nasir, Inspectors Muhammad Waqas and Sharoon conducted the raids

Anti-Narcotics team has arrested Sarfraz Alyas (sharfoo), Wasim Masih and Naeem Zia involved in selling of drugs in their respective areas.

Excise Anti-Narcotics Cell also recovered 1500 grams charas and 1000 grams heroin from their possession.

Cases have been registered against them in their respective Police Stations of Nawan kot, Khana nao and Liaqat Abad for further legal action and investigation.
