SARGODHA: The Excise and Taxation department has sealed 156 properties here in the district after its owners failed to pay taxes.
According to Excise and Taxation Officer Muhammad Arshad Chehal, various notices were served to the owners of such buildings but in vain. He said that a comprehensive campaign had been launched against the defaulters of taxes, adding that 100 percent recovery target would be achieved by June 30.
