Campaign against defaulters: Motor Branch of Lahore Excise seizes documents of 450 vehicles

LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has started a campaign against the owners of the vehicles who have failed to pay token tax in Lahore and other parts of the province.

The department has arranged special teams to check vehicles that are short of token tax, especially which are not registered. The Lahore Motor Branch Director Suhail Arshad has formed special teams to check defaulter vehicles on roads.

During current week Excise Motor Branch Lahore has seized documents of 450 vehicles. Various people after seizure of documents and national identity cards paid taxes and got their documents back.

Excise teams seized documents during checking vehicles at Jail road, Ferozpur road, Model Town, Multan Road, Raiwand Road, Ravi road, Faisal Town and Shahdra toll plaza.
