LAHORE: The Excise Department has auctioned an attractive registration numbers of the first serial marks “LE-20” for 2020 vehicles.
On the first day, citizens showed less interest in bidding. However, LE-1 was the most expensive number which was auctioned at Rs4,530,00.
In the beginning of the year 2020, the attractive numbers of the serial LE-20 of the cars were auctioned at the Farid Court House. A large number of people participated in the auction.
In a three-day bid, the Excise Officers are hopeful that the auction of new serial numbers will fetch the department a hefty sum.
The first bid for the new year showed public interest, but the buyers made lower bids than in the past.
