LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department is likely to transfer officials for their inability to recover property tax.
The department has already transferred 8 directors, including Additional Director Zahid Naqvi. The step was taken due to low recovery of property tax. Those directors and ETOs who failed to achieve their targets are expected to be transferred in a few days.
