Excise Dept Multan impounds 45 non-registered vehicles

MULTAN: The Excise and Taxation Department Multan has impounded as many as 45 non-registered vehicles during a crackdown launched in various urban areas of the city.

The crackdown against unregistered vehicle was launched on the special directives of E&T Multan Division Director Jaam Siraaj. The owners of impounded vehicles had not paid their token and registration fees since long.

The Excise teams also imposed fine on 70 vehicles during the operation due to non-availability of the documents. The crackdown against vehicles was done in the area of Gulgasht, Bosan Road, Mumtazabad, Suraj Miani and Qasim Bela.
