Punjab Excise Dept seizes documents of 50 defaulter vehicles

LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department’s Motor Branch Lahore, during road checking, has seized documents of 50 defaulter and unregistered vehicles.

According to Motor Branch officials, special teams checked 500 vehicles in different areas of the city and seized documents of 50 vehicles. The department has formed different teams to check the vehicles which are not registered and are token tax defaulter.

The department had extended deadline for submission of token tax up to 31 December.

On January 3, the teams formed special check points at Wapda Town, Model Town, Faisal Town, Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road and Ravi Road.
