SIALKOT: The Excise and Taxation Department has decided to arrest as many as 7000 habitual and chronic defaulters of the property tax, besides sealing their properties in Gujranwala district with the advent of the year 2015, Customs Today has learnt.
According to the senior officials of the E& T Department, these chronic defaulters have not yet paid their properties’ taxes for the last seven consecutive years, as they were the defaulters of Rs 10 million taxes. They said the special teams have started working to ensure the early arrest of the above-mentioned tax evaders in this regard.
