SIALKOT: The Punjab Excise and Taxation provincial secretary has directed the directors of nine divisions to ensure 100 percent recovery of property tax, professional tax, luxury tax, motor vehicle tax and excise duty before June 30, 2016.
In a letter issued to them, he said that he will recommend directors, district and assistant district officers and other staff of the Excise and Taxation Department for cash prize and appreciation letters for giving better performance for recovery before fixed date. He said that action would be taken against the officials who would show negligence in recovery process.
