Excise impounds 131 vehicles during general hold up‏

MULTAN: Excise and Taxation Department has impounded 131 vehicles in general hold up operation against token tax defaulters.

Sources told Customs Today that Motor Vehicle branch of Excise and Taxation Department Multan Division has impounded these vehicles during operation against defaulters of token tax in Multan City. Four teams of Excise and Taxation Department has participated in general hold up operation in Multan.

Excise and Taxation Department have taken these vehicles into custody in jurisdiction of different police station of the Multan City. The general hold up operation was conducted in areas of Mumtazabad , Vehari road, Bosan road and Qadirpur Rawaa against the defaulters.

The vehicles were impounded by Excise and Taxation Department on the basis of token short and the general hold up operation was conducted in wide-awake of recovery from token tax defaulters.

Moreover Motor Vehicle branch of Excise and Taxation have registered 294 new applied for registration vehicles here on Monday.
