Excise impounds 17 vehicles on token tax default

LAHORE: The motor branch of the Excise and Taxation Department has impounded 17 vehicles in a special crackdown at liberty Chowk, Gulberg.

On Monday, the excise started a special crackdown against token tax defaulters and established a checkpoint at Liberty Chowk with the collaboration of Pakistan Customs. The teams checked more than 300 vehicles and seized documents of dozens of default vehicles, besides impounding 17 vehicles.
