Excise issues 13,000 new computerised number plates for Gujranwala Division

LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has issued 13,000 new computerised number plates for vehicles of Gujranwala.

The department has set its own manufacturing plant at Shadman Lahore. All number palates of vehicles are now being manufactured in Pakistan.

As per details Excise has issued 13000 new computerized number plates for Gujranwala division. These computerized number plates are of two series GAL and upcoming series GAM. These will be issued to motor cycle, car owners after registration. Vehicles registered in other districts of the division will get these number plates through courier. For this purpose Excise has owned the services of well known courier company TCS.
