Excise issues 400 property tax notices to defaulters in Multan

MULTAN: Excise and Taxation Department has issued 400 property tax notices to defaulters of various parts of Multan as Excise has decided to start crackdown on property tax defaulters.

The notices were issued as warnings to defaulters; they stated that submission of due property tax is necessary otherwise the property will be sealed.

According to Excise and Taxation officer Fakhar Zaman property tax notices were issued to complete legal formality and if the defaulters fail to pay their taxes, properties will be seized as higher authorities have decided to use iron hands in this regard.
