LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department is expected to achieve its revenue target within the time and more than half of it will be achieved before September 30, Excise and Taxation Officer Kasur Malik Aslam has claimed.
Malik Aslam, while addressing the staff at his office, said that the department will achieve the revenue target before time. In the fiscal year of 2014-15, the excise Kasur recovered more than 110 percent of the revenue target.
Malik has strictly directed the excise officials of the district to issue notices to citizens till 15th of August, 2015. After that he will conduct special visits all over district to witness the working of excise officials. He also directed to recover 65 to 70% property tax till 30th September 2015. He said team performance is based on the satisfaction of citizens
