MULTAN: Excise and Taxation Department Multan has collected Rs.38.3 million as property tax from Khanewal district during first eight months of fiscal year 2014-15.
Excise Multan has achieved 87 percent of set target for Khanewal distrct in the wake of property tax as target of Rs 39.6 million was allocated to district.
Khnanewal has significant importance as it is higher contributor into tax collection targets.
While, Motor Registration branch of Khanewal has collected Rs.59.5 million in same period (July-February) of monetary year 2014-15 by achieving 50 percent of assigned target of Rs 120 million.
