Lahore: Excise region B recovers Rs 1.8 billion in 10 months, achieves 90pc target

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department is much vigilant in recovery of taxes, specially property tax which is the back bone of the department.

Excise region B of Lahore has collected more than 90 percent of the target in ten months of the fiscal year of 2014-15 which is a great achievement of the region. Excise Punjab has divided Lahore division in to three regions. Recovery of revenue by region B is best among all regions. According to Akram Ashraf Gondal Director region B Excise department has recovered revenue of Rs 1.8 billion in ten months from the region in the wake of property tax. It is a huge share of the target for the fiscal year of 2014-15.
