ISLAMABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department Rawalpindi has started a pilot project of computerized billing for property tax for the current fiscal year 2015-16.
Sources told Customs Today that office of this project is established in Satellite Town Rawalpindi.

According to sources, the computerized billing of property tax will be sent in three circles during the first step of this project to get input from citizens. If the computerized bills found with some mistakes the citizens will have to inform the department in time to revised the bills.
While on the other hand sources added that all the record of property tax are completed and computerized bill will be issued manual tax bill will not accept in future.
