Excise seals 43 properties on tax default in Kasur

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department, Kasur has sealed 43 properties in different areas of on tax default, besides issuing notices to many defaulters.

The special teams of Kasur Excise under the supervision of Excise District Officer Malik Muhammad Aslam have started crackdown against property tax defaulters in the region. In crackdown, the officials also recovered Rs 400,000 in one day from defaulters. On the other hand, many shops, workshops factories and warehouses were also sealed in Kasur, Khudian and Chunian.

Sources said that on the special directions of DG Akram Ashraf Gondal, the directors of all regions have formed special teams to check the property tax defaulters.
