Excise seals 89 tax defaulter properties

RAWALPINDI: In an operation against property tax defaulters, Excise and Taxation Department sealed 89 properties in different areas of the city on non-payment of property tax.

According to the details, Excise and Taxation officer (ETO) property tax Rawalpindi region, Sheikh Shahid Iqbal directed the Tax Inspectors to launch operation against tax defaulters.

The operation was carried out in Potohar and Rawal Towns and properties of 89 tax defaulters who had not paid their tax over 5 million were sealed.

Outstanding dues of Rs 3.16 were also recovered from the property owners.
