Lahore: Excise seals Expo Center Johar Town for not paying Rs 87.7m tax

LAHORE: The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has sealed the International Expo Center on property tax default.

According to sources, the Excise And Taxation Department has taken this action after sending notices to the administration of the center. The Excise has sent many reminders to Expo Johar Town, but it failed to pay its property tax even after the notices.

Expo Center Johar Town is defaulter of Rs 87.7 million. On Monday Excise teams sealed the gates of Expo Center. After assurance of payment in two days excise team de-sealed the gates of Expo Center.

Expo Center Johar Town is a well known center in Pakistan, where exhibitions of different organizations are routine activity. Center has privilege to host many international exhibitions as well.

Pakistan fashion week is continue in Expo Center these days and it was a third day of the fashion week here on Monday.
