Excise seizes 78 token tax defaulter vehicles in 24hrs

MULTAN: Multan Excise and Taxation Department has impounded 78 token tax defaulter vehicles on Wednesday during an operation. Out of 78 only 7 were unregistered, rest were seized due to non payment of token tax.

Inspectors Vehicle branch Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmad and Sabir Nawaz initiated the operation on the direction of Director Excise and Taxation Jaam Siraaj against token tax defaulter vehicles in the city. Now defaulters of token taxes will have to pay three times the token money after the deadline been passed on 1st of this February.
