SIALKOT: The Excise and Taxation Department has successfully achieved its official revenue recovery target of Rs 442 million set for the fiscal year 2014-15 here.
Excise and Taxation Officer Sialkot Ch Muzaffar Qayyum told Customs Today that the official recovery target of Rs 442 million was fixed for Sialkot district during the running fiscal year, but the Excise and Taxation Department Sialkot has yet recovered Rs 456 million in shape of property tax, motor tax, professional tax, luxury houses tax, excise tax and recreational tax against the said target, which was the 103 percent of the total recovery .
