KARACHI: The Excise and Taxation Department is going to introduce biometric system in near future to stop violation of official timings.
Sources told Customs Today that the department has been receiving a lot of complaints for the last six months that staff of Excise Department is not following the official timings. Due to this practice, customers are facing a lot of difficulties. Sources further revealed that it was observed that customers have to wait for hours.
Now Sindh government decided to launch biometric system in the department so arrival and departure timing of staff should be thoroughly monitored.
