KARACHI: Excise and Taxation (ET) Sindh has decided to start a new system for vehicle registration in Karachi.
According to the sources, ET Sindh will issue a new smart registration card. This initiative has already been taken in Islamabad but it is now going to start in Karachi.
Vehicle registration card will be equipped with a SIM module chip, keeping all information of vehicle owner and basic information regarding vehicle.
Sources further told that smart cards will also be introduced on other cities as well in future.
