Excise to issue notices to 500 govt departments for tax evasion

KARACHI: The Excise and Taxation Department has decided to issue notices to 500 departments of the federal and provincial governments, which it deems are defaulters.

On the other hand, Service and General Administration department of the Sindh government has also decided to collect Rs 20 million from the federal and provincial departments under the head of the registration and taxes on the government cars.
