Excise not to compromise over tax collection: Essrani

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation Giyan Chand Essrani has said that there will be no compromise regarding collection of vehicle tax.

He said that we were trying our best to collect tax from defaulters and for this purpose we were staring our third campaign during the current year.

Talking media persons he said that that phase two of the tax collection campaign concluded recently during which Rs10 million was collected as revenue. During this campaign thousands of vehicles were get challan vouchers. He said just before start of the third phase, a campaign will gear up to get information about tax and people will ask to pay tax regularly.

He further said that we were also planning to set a revenue target so we may able us to achieve that.
