Expert stresses proper use of fertilisers

JHANG: Proper use of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers for wheat, sugarcane, rice and maiz crops can enhance yield and bring more money to farmers.

This was stated by Principal Investigator and Project Director of Agiculture University Faisalabad Dr Muhammad Rasheed while talking to the media here on Saturday.

Chairman Union Council Rasheedpur Babar Khan Sial, DO Agriculture Muhammad Yousaf Tatla, DO Water Management Tariq and Agriculture experts were present on the occasion.

Dr Rasheed said that the University had taken an initiative to provide land-owners access to latest agri techniques by using Information Communication Technology (ICT). This will inrease per acre yield and decrease cost of fertilisers.
