KARACHI: To recover outstanding dues from defaulters, the Special Recovery Cell (SRC) of Model Customs Collectorate Export has also issued final recovery notice against M/s Trendy Apparel-Karachi.
According to details, the assistant collector of SRC on the directives of Export Collector Manzoor Hussain Memon has issued a final recovery notice amounting to Rs 248,008 against Syed Kashif Ijaz, owner of Trendy Apparel-Karachi.
In the notice, the authorities concerned have informed the defaulter that the Rs 248,008 dues along with leviable surcharge to be calculated at the time of payment have not been paid so far.
It also stated that the recovery proceedings under Section 202 of the Customs Act 1969 read with Recovery Rules 2001 have already been initiated against the defaulter.
The authorities concerned also directed the defaulter to pay the dues in seven days after the issuance of the notice, otherwise departmental and legal proceedings would be started.
Demand notices have been issued daily with the consent of Collector Manzoor Hussain Memon to recover the dues.
