Export-oriented industries to get continued gas supply

LAHORE: Federal Government has decided to restore the supply of gas to export-oriented industries from February 21 which will be continued for next 15 days. The decision was taken during a meeting, headed by Federal Minister for Finance Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

Participants of the meeting reviewed the existing provision of gas to export-oriented industry and noted that with improved weather conditions, a revised gas load management plan was possible which enabled the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited to restore gas supply to industries from February 21 onwards, for fifteen days.
