MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax office Multan has collected taxes from the listed taxpayers on the last date for the filing of sales tax and federal excise return up to the month of August for the tax period July 2015.
The Federal Board of Revenue has extended the tax collection date to give opportunity to those listed taxpayers who had still not filed tax returns for the month July.
Due to extension of date many active taxpayers visited the Regional Tax Office Multan for the submission of their tax returns. The Regional Tax Office Multan has collected taxes till late evening due to upcoming two days official holidays of Saturday and Sunday.
The listed tax payer was given the extension for the submission of tax returns under section 74 of Sales Tax Act, 1990 and Section 43 of the Federal Excise Act 2005.
