NEW YORK: Facebook users have had their posts deleted after the social networking site suffered a bug which blocked people from sharing links. Users began reporting on Thursday evening that posts were disappearing and links being removed for “violating the security policy”.

The issue appeared on Facebook’s image-scraping tool which automatically posts pictures from shared links.
